THE SOCCER INTER-ACTION FACILITIES RECEIVE RUBEN GARCIA
Club Atlético Osasuna’s professional player, Rubén García, wants to be in top form for the pre-season and is training at the SIA High Performance Centre to achieve this goal.
The Spanish First Division is one of the most important competitions in the world on its own merits. To make a place in La Liga demands the maximum from every player and at all times requires to be ready to perform, so summer is not only a time of rest for the professional footballer, but also an opportunity to gain depth and confidence for the pre-season. Many teams and players do a pre-season to stay in shape. Among the physical preparation factors to be controlled is the training surface. A suitable natural grass pitch can be found at professional facilities such as Soccer Inter-Action.

CLUB ATLÉTICO OSASUNA TO THE FIRST DIVISION
Pre-season is just around the corner for Club Atlético Osasuna. The team from Navarre have just been promoted to the Spanish Primera Division and have made it their mission to consolidate their position in the category, something they did some time ago, and after a turbulent period they have found their way back to success. This path of progression is due to decisions such as having Rubén García in their ranks, an attacking midfielder who will lead the ‘rojillo’ team for another season.
WHERE IS THE VALENCIAN PLAYER RUBEN GARCIA FROM?
Born in Xàtiva, Valencia, Rubén García Santos (14 July 1993) is, despite his young age, a veteran in La Liga. Trained in the youth ranks of Valencia CF and Levante UD, the midfielder exploded in the 2012/2013 season in the ‘granotas’ ranks to the point of being one of the most coveted young Spanish players of the year. In fact, the midfielder took part in the U-20 World Cup -held in Turkey- and shared a dressing room with other stars such as Gayà, Deulofeu, Saúl Ñíguez, Suso, Bernat and FC Porto’s Óliver Torres.
WHERE HAS RUBEN GARCIA PLAYED?
His performances were enough to make him a name for himself in the elite of football and in search of greater prominence and responsibility he went on loan to Sporting Gijón in the 2017/2018 season to form part of a squad aspiring to promotion to the First Division. However, it took him a while to show his sensational level and it wasn’t until the last third of the campaign when he showed all the enormous potential he has in his boots. This end of the season earned him a second loan to another club aspiring to everything in the Second Division: CD Osasuna.
With the ‘rojilla’ club the scenario was very different with respect to the Asturian club, as Rubén García became one of the leaders of the team and commanded the attacking play of Jagoba Arrasate’s side. The skilful midfielder has undoubtedly been one of the best players in the category and now hopes to make a splash in the Primera División with Osasuna, who paid three million euros to Levante UD to acquire the player for good.
This important bet on the professional player from Xàtiva and his ambition to show the great level he has are two of the incentives that have motivated the player to train hard this summer in order not to lose his great form. Therefore, the option of the sports facilities of the Soccer Inter-Action High Performance Centre is a sure value and throughout these weeks he will be training, along with his physical trainer Arcadio Mompó, on the spectacular natural grass pitch of SIA, a natural grass pitch perfectly equipped for elite football.
RUBEN GARCIA WITH THE PLAYERS OF THE FOOTBALL CAMPUS
Rubén García also had time, after his physical preparation exercises, to meet the young players who are participating in the FC Porto Football Camp, sharing anecdotes with them, giving advice on how to reach the elite and, of course, answering all the questions he was asked, including the youngest players at the High Performance Football Camp.
