UD SIA Benigànim hosted CD Roda last weekend. The first team of Soccer Inter-Action’s international football academy battled against one of the best grassroots football clubs in Spain. The team managed by SIA includes several players with a background in Roda.
UD SIA Benigànim players
The training project of UD SIA Benigànim focuses on an under-23 squad to train and bring football players with the aim of becoming professional footballers in Spain. The same ambition is set by CD Roda, where several current players of the first team of Soccer Inter-Action have defended their jersey.
Promising young players
Txema, Damián, Salva, Emilio and Javi Berenguer are the current UD SIA Benigànim players with a background in CD Roda. Txema came to Soccer Inter-Action this summer from Club Deportivo Roda. The rest of the players came through the Juvenil División de Honor team, with little involvement in the first team.
All of the UD SIA Benigànim players with a background in CD Roda had some opportunity in the RFEF Third Division. The first team of the international football school Soccer Inter-Action presented them with the offer of a young and formative project, which they quickly accepted. CD Roda is a club with an agreement with Villarreal CF that plays its matches at the Ciudad Deportiva Pamesa, in Vila-real. They have a first team in the RFEF Third Division, a reserve team in the regional category and a team in the Juvenil División de Honor. A talented and reputable grassroots football club through which Soccer Inter-Action players Txema, Damián, Salva, Emilio and Javi Berenguer have played.
CD Roda’s players are in the orbit of Villarreal Club de Fútbol. Therefore, having talented players with a Roda background in Soccer Inter-Action is a luxury. All of them are involved in the first team of the SIA Academy football school in Spain.
