SIA Academy will manage the CDB Massanassa football school according to a project based on a proven model of sport and training. In this way, the Academy will unify the resources at its disposal so that the school’s players can continue their sporting and educational training adapted to the context of Massanassa’s municipal facilities.
The agreement with the former board is long-term and guarantees the consolidation of a clearly differentiating initiative, both in form and content, as it represents a firm step towards achieving an objective that prioritises education and combines it with high-performance sport.
SIA Academy works in a multidisciplinary way, the goals pursued are educational, formative and recreational, so as to enable physical, sporting and social development, promoting a comprehensive and balanced education of each athlete.
In addition to working on the school and integrating the resources available to it, one of the objectives is to set up a new football team for children with physical and/or sensory disabilities and to integrate it into the daily operation of the football school, as well as to develop the women’s football line to make the agreement fully inclusive.
With the new structure, all areas of football in its formative aspect will be covered, something that was the wish of the Board, thus achieving the satisfaction of professionals who especially want children and people with disabilities to achieve a dream that does not have to be available to a few. We are proud to be able to respond to the needs of a society with an increasing demand for inclusive solutions, a fairer and more caring society.
SIA Academy is an initiative that deploys, on the one hand, a grassroots football school based on a unique educational model and an ISO-certified methodology aimed at players between the ages of 4 and 23. On the other hand, it also works with a team in the Third Division and one in the Regional Preferente, so that the progression of the players within the structure is guaranteed according to their sporting level.
This benefits all the players of the football school and the players of a high performance football academy that attracts players and teams from all over the world and thus completes an offer of training services deployed in sports facilities prepared for the practice of elite football.
The aim of attracting the children of Massanassa and generating an identity of its own is another of the aspects on which the project is based, which is starting to roll from now on in the municipal facilities with the support of the Massanassa Town Council and the Board of Directors, which has joined the agreement and fully supports the work to be carried out.
