The 24-year-old centre-back plays in the Thai league for BG Pathum United and is a former league and cup winner.

His brother, Ikhsan Fandi, is fighting for the position of Singapore’s best current player. The 23-year-old striker, who trained at Universidad Catolica in Chile, has had spells in Norwegian football and currently plays alongside his brother for BG Pathum United in Thailand.

He made his debut in 2002 in a friendly against the Philippines and began a long career that is still going strong today. He is also the Singapore national team’s most capped player with 146 appearances.
