Soccer Inter-Action reaches an agreement for the management of the U.D. Benigànim

Soccer Inter-Action, FC Porto’s official partner in Spain, has been selected by the Corporation of the City Council of Benigànim (Spain), to manage the U.D. Benigànim, team that will compete next season in the Spanish third division, according to a project based on a proven model of sport and education.

Both parties agree in addition to establish a long-term agreement that guarantees the consolidation of an initiative that this City Council has identified as clearly differentiating, both in form and content, since it represents a firm step towards achieving a goal that prioritizes education and combines it with high performance sports.

The agreement also contemplates a full immersion of Soccer Inter-Action through the Club in the society of the city of Benigànim, which gives the project a marked integrating character. The Municipal Corporation has especially valued this section since it is of the utmost importance that an entity such as Soccer Inter-Action has aligned with our expectations for the development of the municipality. Moreover, due to the global nature of Soccer Inter-Action, this circumstance guarantees a screening of Benigànim internationally.

Soccer Inter-Action is an initiative that deploys, on the one hand, an official FC Porto Dragon Force base football school based on a unique educational model and an ISO-certified methodology aimed at players aged 4 to 23 years. On the other hand, a high performance football academy that attracts players and teams from all over the world and that completes a range of training services deployed in sports facilities prepared for the practice of elite football.

Likewise, identifying and developing the Valencian talent to combine it with players of high international level also represents another of the aspects on which our decision is based, a unique opportunity that this Corporation has not wanted to renounce.

In short, an agreement that the City of Benigànim wants to share with their fellow citizens and also awakens the hope for a solvent project of sustainable football from an economic, social and sports perspective.

This agreement represents an important leap towards a model that only consolidates the high-performance football training academy project that Soccer Inter-Action has wagered on since its inception. Attracting talent and training it in all aspects of football now has a new component that, in the form of a football club, will allow many more opportunities for the players that make up our academy.
