THE SECOND WEEK OF THE CHRISTMAS CAMPUS IS HERE
The Soccer Inter-Action Christmas Football Camp starts its second week after the success of its predecessor. The ball keeps rolling at the High Performance Centre and it does so mixing elite training with fun, linguistic immersion and learning in the educational workshops.
A Christmas full of football is being experienced at Soccer Inter-Action. The SIA Leading High Performance Centre, located in Enguera (Valencia, Spain), has become a national benchmark during the Christmas holidays thanks to its countless training programmes.
CHRISTMAS FOOTBALL ACADEMY
And the ball hasn’t stopped at SIA for a single day. The International Football Academy continues its Annual Programme with double sessions on the pitch, UD SIA Benigànim are already preparing for their next Third Division League match against Novelda, Discóbolo La Torre are not losing their competitive rhythm, CF Dragon Force’s Juvenil A National team is training in friendlies and, as if all this wasn’t enough, the Christmas Camp continues to shine with its own light. Sport does not stop.
Sport this year has become one of the best tools to combat the stress generated by the health situation and at Soccer Inter-Action football and fun is everything. The young players and goalkeepers comply with all health requirements and this allows them to enjoy what they love most: the ball. Spanish football sets a very high standard, if we compare the camps in England, France, Portugal and Italy, the best standard and leaders are the Spanish ones.
CHRISTMAS FOOTBALL CAMPUS IN VALENCIA
And what could be better than a Football Camp for those players who think about the ball day after day. After a successful week with the SIA High Performance Football Camp, now comes the second week. A week that will have some new features compared to the first one, but whose base will be the same: elite training..
SPORTS PSYCHOLOGY WORKSHOPS
The level of the last days of the first week of Campus de Fútbol was very high after the psychology workshops, the talk with Fernando Gómez Colomer and the exciting ‘precision’ tournaments. However, from the very first minute of this second week of Campus de Navidad it has been clear that the level and technique will be ‘in crescendo’.
PREVIOUS MEDICAL CHECK-UPS
However, in order to enjoy the game, you have to be sure that you are physically at 100%. For this reason, the medical services of Soccer Inter-Action and the nutritionist of the SIA International Football Academy have travelled to the High Performance Centre to, firstly, carry out antigen tests on the footballers and, secondly, to give them a small but complete medical check-up.
TECHNIFICATION IN SMALL GROUPS
Once they had passed, and with flying colours, all of the tests and examinations, the young players of the Christmas Camp took to the pitch. And what did they find there? Well, the first technical sessions, where agility and dribbling were the two aspects to work on. A lot of rhythm and a variety of exercises to make training a game.
SPORTS NUTRITION WORKSHOPS
With a well-deserved stop for lunch, prepared at SIAVAR, the footballers got their strength and energy back at the nutrition workshop. Mariela Ramirez, nutritionist at the International Soccer Inter-Action Academy, took them to the multimedia room where she used the smart board to talk to the players about their diet.
“What do you eat for breakfast? What foods give us energy? What can we eat after training to get our strength back?” Many questions posed by the nutritionist and which were gradually answered by all the players until they reached a final conclusion. For this conclusion, they had to debate and present their experiences, something that also helps them in their progress in public speaking.
HIGHLY COMPETITIVE TOURNAMENTS
The last hours of this first day were spent working on team camping. First with exercises to improve in defence and then in attack, all as a team. The last activity of the day was the competitive moment, where the young players of the football camp put into practice in mini matches everything they had worked on during the day.
THIRD DIVISION TEAM TRAINING
For added motivation, the footballers of the Christmas Campus were able to share time and space with the players of the UD SIA Benigànim of the Third Division, where they stopped to talk to everyone and, even some, to play at not being robbed of the ball.
