Soccer Inter-Action has triple representation at TORCAF 2021
The summer is slowly coming to an end, and the last preparatory tournaments for the season are coming to an end. This weekend sees the TORCAF 2021 8-a-side football championship, where Soccer Inter-Action has three teams representing it.
Soccer Inter-Action in pre-benjamin category
The SIA Academy team is placed in group B alongside high level rivals such as Levante UD, Villarreal CF and CD Serranos. Two teams will play for a place in the semi-finals, where they will face the top two teams in Group A, which includes Ciutad d’Alzira FB, Racing d’Algemesí, Gandia CF and Valencia CF.
The SIA Academy prebenjamín team will play in TORCAF 2021 on Saturday . Their debut will take place at 9:30 a.m. against Levante, followed by a match against Villarreal at 1:00 p.m. and, to close the group stage, against Serranos at 4:00 p.m.
The Soccer Inter-Action team, should they reach the semi-finals, will play at 5:30 p.m. or 6:00 p.m., depending on their classification. Finally, the battle for third place will take place at 18:45, while the final will be played at 19:15.
The TORCAF of the SIA Academy’s junior team
On the same Saturday, the TORCAF 2021 will take place in the benjamin category, where Soccer Inter-ActionAcademy has been placed in group B alongside Levante Unión Deportiva and Club Deportivo Serranos.
The SIA Academy benjamín will make their debut at TORCAF at 9:30 am against Levante UD, while they will close the group stage at 13:30 pm against CD Serranos. Two teams will advance to the quarter finals, which will be played either at 17:30 or 18:30 depending on the qualification position.
The semi-finals, where Soccer Inter-Action’s benjamín team hopes to participate, will be played at 19:00 and 19:30, while the fight for third place will kick off at 20:15. The grand final of the TORCAF benjamín, at 20:45.
CDB SIA Massanassa, in the TORCAF fry
The oldest team representing Soccer Inter-Action is CDB SIA Massanassa. The club arrives at TORCAF with the great experience of having won the COTIF for the first time in their history.
SIA Massanassa will play in the group phase against Levante Unión Deportiva and Primer Toque CF in group B. The first match will be against Levante at 9:30 am; the second and final match will be against Primer Toque at 1:30 pm.
The two best teams will advance to the quarter-finals, which will take place at 17:30 and 18:30, depending on the classification, and the semi-finals, which will be played at 19:00 and 19:00, depending on the classification. The fight for third place will take place at 20:15 and the grand final at 20:45.
What is TORCAF?
TORCAF is one of the most renowned summer championships in the Valencian Community. It is played in both 8-a-side football and 11-a-side and women’s football, which is why winning the title of champion is a great honour and demonstrates the good work of the winning club’s youth academy.
In 2021 the XIV Edition of a TORCAF will be held where Soccer Inter-Action has triple representation. All SIA teams are looking to reach the best level at the beginning of the season and to compete in the best possible way.
