SIA Academy maintains its strong commitment to the training of football players. The football school of La Canal de Navarrés continues to compete after the end of the season. It does so in championships and tournaments of high level and against professional football clubs. This is the case of the Ciutat de Carlet tournament.
Soccer Inter-Action will compete in the 29th edition of the Ciutat de Carlet Tournament. Big clubs such as Levante UD and UD Alzira will play in the summer championship. The young players of SIA Academy will participate and will have a great football experience.
Ciutat de Carlet and SIA Academy Tournament
The Ciutat de Carlet tournament will have multiple representatives from CF Soccer Inter-Action. Up to six teams from the SIA Academy football school will compete for the title of champion. A benchmark competition in the province of Valencia.
SIA Academy teams
SIA Academy will participate in the Ciutat de Carlet Tournament with five teams. The alevin B team will compete for the title in second year alevines, one in second year benjamín A, one in first year benjamín B, one in second year prebenjamín and one in cherubines.
All groups, with the exception of cadets and children, have eight participants. There will be a group stage before the final play-offs. All against all in search of lifting the title of champion of the Ciutat de Carlet Tournament.
SIA Academy Rivals
SIA Academy’s opponents in the Ciutat de Carlet Tournament cover different categories and levels. The headliner is Levante UD, a LaLiga club. Also important is the participation of UD Alzira, a Second RFEF team and a benchmark in La Ribera’s youth football.
Other CF Soccer Inter-Action opponents are: Carlet EMF, Colegio Salgui, Barrio Obrero, Caramanchel, Alginet, La Mancomunitat, CF Cracks, L’Alcúdia, Real de Gandia, San Marcelino, Sueca Promeses, Guadassuar, Ciutat de Xàtiva, Sollana, Monte-Sión, Vall dels Alcalans, Simat, La Pobla and Racing d’Algemesí.
What is the Ciutat de Carlet Tournament?
The Ciutat de Carlet Tournament is one of the most important in the province of Valencia. It brings together 21 clubs from different parts of the Valencian Community to compete against each other to become champions. Many youth football scouts will pass through Carlet’s facilities to keep an eye on the future stars.
When does it take place?
The Ciutat de Carlet Tournament in its 2022 edition will be played at the Riu Magre football field in Carlet on the weekend of 4 and 5 June. Two days full of training football where CF Soccer Inter-Action will try to be crowned champion.
The group phase, consisting of a large group, will be played on Saturday, 4 June. The play-offs in all categories will be held on 5 June. The finals will be played on Sunday afternoon, followed by the prize-giving ceremony.
