From the football school España Soccer Inter-Action we decided to make a gesture of support and encouragement for the whole island of La Palma. Therefore, all players of the SIA Academy football academy teams took the field with a banana in their hands.
The banana is one of the Canary Island’s identity symbols and one of the victims of the volcanic eruption on La Palma. For this reason, the players of the SIA Academy football in Europe each carried a banana. In addition, it was also a chance to get some strength after the matches.
