When a family chooses a high-performance football camp, they are investing in much more than sport. They are placing their trust in an educational environment where their child will learn to live with others, to improve themselves and to acquire tools that will stay with them for life. Football becomes a means to transmit essential values, shape personality and build a strong mindset based on effort and consistency.
From day one, the experience makes the difference. At SIA Academy we live football as a comprehensive formative process, and that is why our Summer Camp 2026, which will take place from June 22 to June 15 and will last 8 weeks, is designed so that every player grows both on and off the pitch. It is not just about training, but about learning through a structured, demanding and enriching routine.

Football as a school and real learning
A high-performance camp is a true school of life. Every training session, every talk and every match is an opportunity to reinforce values that are not taught in a traditional classroom. Respect for rules, punctuality, commitment to the group and the ability to listen are part of the player’s daily life.
At SIA Academy we understand that these things are best assimilated when they are lived. We do not impose speeches; we create experiences. The player learns to take responsibility for their own progress and discovers that personal growth is linked to constant effort. In this way, values are integrated naturally and lastingly.

Discipline and habits that sustain values
Discipline is one of the fundamental pillars of any high-performance environment. Keeping schedules, respecting rest routines and meeting daily objectives helps to build solid habits. These habits reinforce values such as consistency and responsibility, which are key both in sport and in academic and personal life.
Over the eight weeks of the camp, the player internalises a way of working that stays with them beyond the summer. They learn that talent needs order and that small details make the difference. These values, learned through daily discipline, become a stable foundation for their future development.
Coexistence, team and shared values
Coexistence is one of the great drivers of learning at a summer camp. Living and training alongside other young people with the same goals fosters essential social values. Team spirit, empathy and respect for the group develop naturally when effort and sacrifice are shared.
At SIA Academy we always speak in the first person plural because we believe in the collective process. We accompany the player at every step, creating an environment where values are reinforced through example. Daily coexistence teaches how to resolve conflicts, communicate better and understand that individual success is born from teamwork.
Emotional management and competitive mindset
High performance also demands mental strength. Learning to manage pressure, mistakes and frustration is an essential part of the formative process. In a demanding camp, the player faces situations that force them to adapt and grow emotionally.
This learning strengthens values such as resilience and self-confidence. Knowing how to lose, accept corrections and try again is a lesson that goes beyond football. As Frederico Pereira, Sporting Director of SIA Academy, states:
“When a player learns to manage their emotions, they are acquiring values that will serve them both in sport and in any area of their life.”

The environment and role models as transmitters of values
The environment in which a player is formed is decisive. Coaches, teammates and methodology directly influence the assimilation of values. Having coherent and professional role models accelerates learning and reinforces the credibility of the message.
Frederico Pereira sums it up like this:
“Young players learn by observing. That is why, in a high-performance camp, every action of the coaching staff must transmit the values we want to instil.”
This daily coherence ensures that values are not just words, but visible and repeated behaviours.
An experience that leaves a mark beyond the summer
Taking part in a high-performance camp for eight weeks is a transformative experience. The player not only improves their football level, but also returns home with a more mature mindset and healthier habits. The achievements acquired during the camp remain over time and are reflected in their daily attitude.
At SIA Academy we conceive the Summer Camp 2026 as a space where football is the tool and comprehensive development is the goal. We work to ensure that every player lives a demanding, human and enriching experience, where values are the true final outcome.
Because in the end, real success is not measured solely in sporting performance, but in the quality of the values that accompany the player throughout their life. That is the impact of a high-performance camp, and that is our commitment.
