SIA ACADEMY AT FFCV GALA

As every year, the Football Federation of the Valencian Community (FFCV) awards the best teams of the season at its annual gala. SIA Academy was invited to attend a night where they were able to show off their great youth and international football project.

SIA Academy and the FFCV Gala

The SIA Academy expedition travelled to Alzira to represent the Soccer Inter-Action school at the FFCV Gala. Several SIA players and coaches attended on behalf of the academy. They all had their deserved moment of glory when they picked up the champion’s trophy.

This is how the FFCV Gala went

Along with Soccer Inter-Action, other great teams were present. Valencia CF and Levante UD were also present at the FFCV Gala. Members of both clubs watched first-hand as SIA Academy collected their well-deserved award. UD SIA Benigànim’s Indian player Bapodra was in charge of collecting the award as representative of the winning team.

Angel and Konstantin took to the stage in the hall to collect the title of champions. Both took a commemorative photo in compliance with all sanitary regulations. The audience applauded them and they offered the award to their coach, who was also present.

The SIA Academy season

Soccer Inter-Action was part of the FFCV Gala thanks to the great season of the Juvenil B team in 20/21. Work and effort are always rewarded at SIA Academy. But what results did they achieve to be crowned league champions in Group 14 of the Segunda Regional?

SIA Academy, league champions

SIA Academy was crowned league champions last season. It was in group 14 of the Segunda Regional Juvenil. After a great campaign they were able to win a title that they were able to lift at the FFCV Gala.

A more than deserved prize for their efforts. It was a complicated season. The COVID-19 disrupted the scheduling of many matches and affected all teams equally. In addition, the public could not come to the SIA Center to cheer on their pupils. Even so, great sporting results were achieved.

How was the SIA Academy champion’s season?

SIA Academy achieved great success last season. The second youth team of the Soccer Inter-Action academy scored maximum points in the first round. Twelve wins in twelve matches. 58 goals scored and only 11 conceded proved SIA’s superiority.

Several 7-0 and 7-1 thrashings, as well as hard-fought victories against top opponents, polished the SIA Academy players. They all came out more confident in their game and demonstrated their great development as footballers. In the promotion phase, five wins and one draw were achieved, concluding in first place without conceding any defeats.
