The young soccer players of the SIA Academy played an exciting football match at the Soccer Inter-Action sports facilities against Levante U18.
The players played alongside players from UD SIA Benigànim, in the Third Division, something very special for some of the SIA Academy players, who made their debut in the first team.
Playing Soccer In Spain
SIA Academy players had a great experience this weekend. Levante UD visited the High Performance Center of Soccer Inter-Action with the aim of playing a match against SIA Academy, which for the occasion prepared a team composed of players from its Premium Program and UD SIA Benigànim, which competes in the Third Division
Levante UD took the opportunity to measure the level of its U18 team, which has had a successful season in National U19 League, precisely the same category in which some of the SIA Academy players have competed this year. For this reason, everything pointed to an exciting soccer match in Spain between SIA Academy and Levante UD.
How was the outcome of the game with Levante UD?
The match started in a very positive way for the home team. Led by Fernando Gómez Colomer, a legend as a player and captain of Valencia CF, the SIA Academy team took an early lead. Ceballos scored the first goal after a nice team play. Bapodra, José Manuel and Tomás, three youth players who have established themselves in the team after having played in previous UD SIA Benigànim matches, were also present.
In fact, the Indian striker Bapodra was very active in the early minutes of the game, but did not have the desired chance that could have put even more distance on the scoreboard. Castilla did manage to achieve that goal, and they were rewarded for the good play of SIA Academy with a second goal, which eventually came from the boots of José Manuel, who ended the first half with some dangerous runs down the left flank.
How was the second part of the match?
The second half, unlike the first, got off to a very good start for Levante UD. The Valencian team, whose first team competes in Spain’s First Division, managed to close the gap on the scoreboard. However, the visiting team’s joy was short-lived, as SIA Academy once again took control of the game and controlled the situation at all times.
In fact, Santos and Guille scored two quick goals that ended all hopes of Levante UD to tie the match. These goals came together with the entrance to the field of play of two outstanding players: Ethan and Gautam. Ethan returned to play for UD SIA Benigánim, from Spain’s Third Division, and Gautam made his debut in the team at the age of 16, completing a sensational performance.
The minutes went by and SIA Academy continued to dominate the game. Levante UD did not give up and competed until the end, but the good attacking skills of the locals were decisive in the match. Migue, with a precise header, was the scorer of the last goal of the match, which also involved SIA Academy young players Sebastien, Kwadwo, Vishnu, Zane, Fabrizio and Samuel, who made their debut with the Spanish Third Division team.
Soccer Trials In Spain
The soccer match held at the Soccer Inter-Action High Performance Center was also used for soccer tryouts. SIA Academy had in its ranks Ahmed, a young U23 winger who is preparing for his professional soccer tryouts at SIA Academy, with this match being his first soccer tryout in Spain this summer.
This is the time of year chosen by both players and professional clubs to carry out soccer trials. The season comes to an end and, before the start of the next season, teams set up their scouting networks to capture talent. The match between SIA Academy and Levante UD was attended by scouts with that objective in mind, to analyze young players with the mission of looking at their future incorporations.
Soccer Camp in Spain
Another great alternative to soccer tryouts are summer camps. SIA Academy is a specialist in organizing this type of event, which is highly demanded by families and soccer players, as they are very important in order to prepare for the next season and not lose competitive rhythm.
The SIA Academy International Camps has a comprehensive program where education, training and fun are very well complemented. The objective of the Soccer Campus is to enhance the skills of the players, both on and off the field. For this reason, training workshops such as language classes, nutrition, video-analysis or physical preparation are important.
In addition, disconnecting from the work on the field is paramount for the players and there is no better way to do it in summer than with refreshing swims, either in the SIA
Academy pool or in the beautiful lake located in the natural setting of Enguera (Valencia) less than a kilometer from the Soccer Inter-Action High Performance Center
