SIA ACADEMY 2023 Qualifier
From Tuesday, 28 November to Saturday, 2 December, the SIA Academy Qualifier will take place at the AFUTCOP School Tournament in Chile. Aimed at teams with male players born between 2007 and 2009. We will award a Clinic programme at our academy located in Enguera, Valencia to the best school in the tournament.
PREMIO SIA ACADEMY
The winning school will have the privilege of enjoying a week at our SIA Center for the following year 2024, while the two best players of the tournament will be able to extend their prize for an additional 3 week scholarship.
This scholarship includes accommodation, food, training kit, participation in the sports programmes we offer at the academy and a sightseeing tour of the city of Valencia along with a tour of the Mestalla Stadium.
The winning school of the SIA Academy Qualifier and the two outstanding players of the AFUTCOP Tournament will be able to travel whenever they see fit during 2024. Except for the months of June, July and August.
These awards will be presented at the annual AFUTCOP Awards Gala to be held on Monday 4 December 2023.
Who will participate in the SIA Academy 2023 qualifier?
Once the AFUTCOP 2023 General Tables have been established, which take into account the results of the mini, junior, intermediate and senior categories of the different Series, the following schools will qualify directly:
- The first four places in Series A.
- The first two places in Series B.
- Champion of Series C.
- Champion of Series D.
System of play
There will be 4 quarter-final groups, which will have the 4 teams from Series A as seeded teams. The opponents will be drawn by lot. Each match will last 70 minutes.
The quarter and semi finals will take place at the sports venues of the participating schools.
