SIA Academy participates in the best grassroots football tournaments in Spain. Moments where you can compete against other clubs from all over the world. Even against great youth teams such as Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Villarreal CF, Real Sociedad or Atlético de Madrid.
Soccer Inter-Action will play in the Football Motion Cup. A grassroots football tournament aimed at youth footballers born in 2011. It will be played on the 21st and 22nd of May 2022 at La Murta, a Spanish Third Division stadium located in Xàtiva, Valencia..
SIA Academy vs Levante UD
A selection of the CDB SIA Massanassa’s youth team will represent Soccer Inter-Action in the Football Motion Cup. The SIA team will be placed in group B against one of the hosts, Ciutat de Xàtiva; CD Eldense, a Second RFEF club; and Levante UD.
SIA Academy Rivals
One of SIA Academy’s group B matches will be against Ciutat de Xàtiva. A grassroots football club that competes at home and will prove to be a difficult opponent for the SIA Academy team.
CD Eldense and Levante UD will also be difficult. Eldense have an important youth academy. The first team plays in Segunda RFEF and fights for promotion to Primera RFEF. Levante UD have one of the best youth academies in Spain and their youngsters are fighting to become LaLiga Santander players in the future.
Other rival clubs
Should CDB SIA Massanassa make it through the group stage, they could find themselves up against many of Spain’s elite football clubs. The line-up includes Real Madrid CF, FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Valencia CF, Villarreal CF and Elche CF as representatives of LaLiga Santander.
Other big schools such as CD Alcoyano, Torrent CF, UD Alzira, Alboraya UD, CF Gandia, Las Rozas CF and CF Cracks also shine in the line-up. From across the border, Burel FC from Marseille, France, and Bergerac Périgord FC, also from France, will compete.
What is the Football Motion Cup?
To learn more about the competition that CDB SIA Massanassa will play, you need to know the history of the tournament. The Football Motion Cup will bring together 24 clubs from different countries and categories in Xàtiva for two days full of football. The beginning of a beautiful history of grassroots football.
First year of history
This will be the first year in the history of the Football Motion Cup. A grassroots football tournament where only youth teams with players born in 2011 can participate. An international championship where the best football clubs in Spain come together in search of a new title.
Six groups of four teams will be formed to organise the 24 participating clubs. The champions and the two best runners-up will advance to the quarter-finals. The knockout tournaments will be played on Sunday in a single match.
Television broadcasting
CDB SIA Massanassa families will enjoy their child in the stadium… or on television. For the first time in the history of the club managed by the SIA Academy, the fry will be broadcast. All the matches of SIA Massanassa and the other participants will be shown on GOL TV.
The broadcast will be able to include interviews, statements and much more. A chance to shine in front of the cameras and catch the eye of the world’s best football scouts.
