SIA ACADEMY PLAYERS ATTENDED A SPORTS TALK GIVEN BY PASCU DOMINGO

Microcycles-in-the-game

SIA Academy players attended the sports talk organised by Club Deportivo Enguera, and given by Pascu Domingo, coach of the “División de Honor” team of our subsidiary club UD Alzira.

In this sports talk, the following issues were discussed:

Microcycles-in-the-game
  • Microcycle management and game behaviour in grassroots football.
  • The importance of the improvement of the player from the tools that the club and coaches offer, for this, he commented on the fundamental pillars that every coach must have to be able to exercise in the best way this profession and reach the player (responsibility, commitment, constant help, training, among others things.)

In this regard, Pascu referred to the importance of optimising the time of the tasks and training with different techniques (planning, space-time management, messages-codes…).

On the other hand, he taught the “Why?” rule, with examples of tasks and microstructures (everything happens and is done for a reason).

Afterwards, he explained how to carry out a microcycle and relevant aspects to take into account, as well as different sessions and ways of working. He also referred to TWB (time with the ball) and TW/OB (time without the ball) to explain fundamental technical-tactical aspects, as well as the structure of weekly loads and the phases of the game.

To finish, he made a reflection with everything mentioned, after explaining on the blackboard different sessions, tasks, why they do things… He also gave useful tools to help give a better training to the children.

It was a very fruitful training where Pascu helped the assisting coaches and gave useful tools for the trainings.
