Goalkeeper Alessio completes his football clinic
The individualized high-performance football programs continue to shine their light at the Soccer Inter-Action football academy.
Alessio Gianfalla, a young Italian goalkeeper, was the last player who joined the list of footballers that successfully completed an SIA clinic. He trusted the services of the Soccer Inter-Action’s high-performance center to attain one of his first international football-related experiences.
Goalkeeping training session
The goalkeeper, residing in France, opted to pursue the SIA Clinic specialized in goalkeepers. This program is individualized on a high-performance level and suitable for aspiring goalkeepers.
In fact, Alessio has had no adaptation problems thanks to this adequacy. Moreover, the goalkeeper has experienced a clinic where not only his gloves have been tested, but he has also received complementary workshops that are taught at SIA. These other workshops were focusing on nutrition, psychology, video analysis and physiotherapy.
How do you train a goalkeeper?
The goalkeeper’s department of Soccer Inter-Action, supervised by Adria Tarín, completely adapted the program to the needs of Alessio’s training program and by implementing the methodology of SIA. The goalkeeper has tried his best, and the outcomes could not have been more positive. The different goalkeeper coaches of the International Football Academy of Soccer Inter-Action and its CF Dragon Force Football School in Spain have all contributed to this SIA Clinic.
For greater involvement in this individualized Clinic, Alessio has been a part of the CF Dragon Force fry teams during his International Soccer Inter-Action Academy stay. In fact, he has trained in both Alevín B (second-placed in his League) and Fry A (outstanding competition leader). He was welcomed excellently by his teammates was, and the Italian goalkeeper returns to France with many new friendships.
Football Goalkeeper Training
There is no doubt that the position of the goalkeeper is one of the most notable positions in this sport. The footballer that is defending the goal has to be prepared both mentally and physically and it is essential that both of these components are balanced correctly to become successful.

However, it is the training on the pitch that most catches the eye, so everything is prepared in detail with the aim of working to the fullest throughout the football goalkeeper clinic and focusing on the key characteristics of becoming a better goalkeeper.
What skills should a football goalkeeper have?
One of these features is to improve the handling of the ball by the goalkeepers. Currently, it is increasingly important that a goalkeeper is able to dominate the ball with his feet and elite football demands that each season the goalkeepers are improving these skills. You only have to look at current football stars like Ter Stegen, Ederson or Neuer.
To do this, the controlling, passing, positioning and reading exercises of the game – more typical for a midfielder than a ‘traditional’ goalkeeper – are trained at all times by the coaches of the International Football Academy of Soccer Inter-Action. In addition, one-on-one exercises, air departure or agility under the sticks are also part of the individualized trainings for goalkeepers.

Goalkeepers in Spanish Third Division
The goalkeeper coaches who are part of Soccer Inter-Action and who have trained Alessio Gianfalla are the same ones who work daily with the goalkeepers of the UD SIA Benig-nim, third division team.
Training of professional goalkeepers
This team competes in one of the most important categories in Spain and consists of U23 players who are one step away from completing their training process and being fully prepared to make the transition to professional football.
The current goalkeepers of the UD SIA Beniganim are a clear example. Cristian Andrada (1998) has boosted his level after his first course in Soccer Inter-Action and has settled as a Third Division goalkeeper and Enric Sánchez (2000) is ready to make the leap to a top team after two campaigns in SIA. In fact, Enric Sánchez completes his formative stage at the high performance center of Soccer Inter-Action after playing for teams such as Real Madrid and Valencia CF, two of the best teams in the Spanish Primera División.
