The presentation of the Unión Deportiva Alzira returns with more enthusiasm than ever.
After four years of not being able to be held due to the pandemic, the presentation of the UD Alzira teams for the 2023/2024 season was celebrated last Friday with 34 teams, the highest number since the club was created. Its president, Juan Antonio SanJuán, along with other representatives of the club shared some heartfelt words about the work done with the grassroots soccer school, “for us it is a very big responsibility that we try to perform in the best possible way, to develop and educate in values is our great mission”.
The event was an opportunity for the players to be presented with each of their teams, within which the new UD Alzira eSports team that competes in Rocket League, 2K24, Fortnite and EA FC 24 was also unveiled. The players of each roster showed the new blue and red kit with the SIA Academy brand on the back, the main sponsor of the club, showing the commitment and alliance between both partners.
This season is very special because this year, the club has broken the record for the number of teams. From SIA Academy, we are proud to be part of this record with an amateur team and a juvenil team, as well as having players from the SIA Academy high-performance annual program training and others forming part of the UD Alzira squads.
Parents, friends and fans of the club enjoyed a great football atmosphere where they finally found out who were the players of the first team of UD Alzira, a team that plays in the 2nd RFEF, and met the protagonists of the presentation: the players of the azulgranas’ grassroots football.
