EXCITING MONTH OF AUGUST IN SIA THANKS TO THE SOCCER CAMPUS

The High Performance Football Centre of Soccer Inter-Action will have the presence of the summer soccer camp of FC Porto, team that has just won the Portuguese League and Cup.

Summer is the time when football players prepare for the next season. Football training in these months is very important to gain a competitive rhythm and the best solution to train is to attend the different soccer camps in summer.

The High Performance Centre of Soccer Inter-Action, located in Enguera (Valencia, Spain) will be one more month organizing the important Soccer Campus FC Porto, a summer soccer training program that includes individual technification trainings and complementary workshops to the formation of the football player beyond the training on the field.

What special health measures have been taken for summer camp?

The health situation that has been created in the world due to the COVID-19 has forced all entities – also sports entities – to take measures with the aim of avoiding any kind of risk of contagion. Soccer Inter-Action and FC Porto, SIA’s official partner in Spain, have organized a soccer camp 2020 for this summer that is different from previous editions and where safety is the most important thing.

For this reason, all of the young players from FC Porto’s summer soccer campus at Soccer Inter-Action are interned at SIA High Performance Centre. This decision favors the control of the player’s health and that of the rest of the employees of the institution, who are also housed at the SIA Center. In addition, on the first day of the Soccer Campus, each soccer player receives an exhaustive medical test. The COVID-19 test is mandatory, and players must take it there or in the days before they are admitted to the High Performance Center.

After having under control all the safety of the young player, the FC Porto summer football camp prioritizes training in High Performance. For this reason, the technicians, who are qualified and trained by the Portuguese club, carry out up to three training sessions on the field.

Intensive training sessions with FCPorto

The training sessions are planned according to FC Porto’s playing methodology and distributed in such a way that the players do not suffer from fatigue. Some of these training sessions have an injury prevention character and use the gymnasium of the High Performance Centre of Soccer Inter-Action and its International Soccer Academy in Spain.

Facilities with pool to cool off

The summer in Spain has the characteristic of being hot. Soccer Inter-Action has for its summer soccer camp a swimming pool within its sports facilities to cool down the young players. The tutors at the Soccer Campus in Spain are in charge of deciding when it is time to go swimming in the pool, which is usually before snack.

Nutrition, psychology, language and video analysis workshops

In addition to training, the young players who sign up for FC Porto’s summer camp at Soccer Inter-Action also receive workshops to complement their training on the pitch. Thus, the young players have English or Spanish classes -depending on the nationality of the footballer- video analysis classes and other activities where nutrition and psychology are the main topics.

At the end of the FC Porto summer football camp, all players receive a certificate of personal attendance at an award ceremony where the champions of the different leisure games organized during the Campus are also highlighted. This summer football camp offers, among other activities, exciting table tennis tournaments and, of course, FIFA 20 tournaments for PS4.

International football camps like FC Porto’s are the best solution to get access to a football trail as well, whether it is an elite team or an International Football Academy. Soccer Inter-Action has its International Soccer Academy in Spain where it has in its annual High Performance program young players coming from all over the world. All of them are willing to train and compete in the different SIA teams (FC Porto Dragon Force, UD Benigànim, Discóbolo-La Torre AC) in order to develop as a soccer player and promote their talent.
