The TIFUT is one of the best grassroots football tournaments in Spain. The pandemic stopped the 2020 and 2021 editions. In 2022 the best football clubs in Spain return to the Municipal de Massanassa. CDB SIA Massanassa will play against FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Valencia CF and many more.
What does TIFUT 2022 look like?
TIFUT 2022 is the eleventh edition. It will be the first international grassroots football tournament in Massanassa since the outbreak of the pandemic. So, it will be a before and after. The young players from Massanassa will have the opportunity to play against regional, national and international teams.
TIFUT 2022 participants
The TIFUT 2022 involves football players in the youth category. The clubs that have confirmed their arrival are Valencia CF, Villarreal CF, Elche CF, Albacete Balompié and RC Deportivo de La Coruña. Many more national and international teams are expected to join.
The big international clubs that have come to compete in TIFUT are S.C. Braga (Portugal), Udinese Calcio (Italy), Sporting Club de Lisboa (Portugal), S.S. Lazio (Italy), T.F. Südpfalz (Germany), S.L. Benfica (Portugal), Fiorentina (Italy) and Borussia Dortmund (Germany).
Dates of TIFUT 2022
The 2022 edition of the TIFUT will take place between Saturday 11 June and Sunday 12 June. Dates where grassroots football has concluded in Massanassa and where the end of the season will be celebrated. A party to enjoy the best schools in Spain and the world.
The TIFUT is celebrated at this time for its beginnings. The president who devised the tournament wanted to celebrate the end of the season in style with a big tournament. In this way CDB SIA Massanassa could compete against the best football teams before the summer holidays.
What is TIFUT?
The TIFUT is a grassroots football competition held at the Massanassa Municipal Stadium. It brings together major football and grassroots football clubs. Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Valencia CF or Villarreal CF are some of the examples. All of this, in a week to remember.
The first edition of TIFUT was held in 2006 with regional teams. In 2007 it was extended to a national level with the arrival of teams such as Real Madrid and Fútbol Club Barcelona. Finally, in 2008 it was extended to international level. The 11th edition will be held in 2022.
TIFUT facilities
TIFUT 2022 will be held at the Massanassa Municipal Sports Centre. A venue adapted for major competitions. The FFCV has already held a final for access to the Copa del Rey on the main football pitch. Therefore, it is a new pitch, adapted and in good conditions.
It has grandstands for 1,000 spectators with a roof, an infirmary/medical room where first aid is provided and with the assistance of in-house physiotherapists. The Municipal Sports Centre also has a free car park for more than 500 vehicles. There is a restaurant, swimming pool and children’s playgrounds.

The TIFUT 2022 is a dream for many young footballers. Competing against the best football clubs in Spain is not often achieved. If your son or daughter’s wish is to be able to play, CDB SIA Massanassa is the ideal team to achieve it.
