SIA Academy’s last weekend match day was packed with SIA Academy participations
Our amateur team SIA Academy continues to fight for a place for promotion to Lliga Comunitat. Last Saturday they faced second placed Racing d’Algemesí at the Venecia municipal pitch. The team played a great game, despite the injuries they had, and won by two goals to nil. Giacomo, Justin and Daniel, players from the annual programme, helped the team to victory from the start of the game. Lorenzo, another of our players, came off the bench to add speed to the attack.
UD Alzira Juvenil B, SIA Academy affiliate, continue their unstoppable winning streak. This time, the victory was away against FS Picassent by one goal to three and consolidates their position at the top of the table. Jill, academy player, contributed to the team’s offensive and helped to be closer to the goal: promotion to Liga Nacional. Jill continues to accumulate call-ups with Juvenil B team and continues to progress as a player in the academy.
Our Juvenil SIA Academy continues working hard and showing good sensations in every game they play. Abilio, the last player to join the annual programme, made his debut with the team against the first classified and left us with good sensations in the attacks. His height and intelligence make him one of the main offensive searches for our youth team. Another of our players, Lukian, came off the bench to bring verticality and improve the team’s attack as well.
In the UD Alzira women’s amateur team, our player Alice continues to appear in the team’s call-ups. In the last game, the azulgranas faced the first classified, Inter Xàtiva, and competed in a very tough game. Alice was the architect of moderating the team’s attacks and defense from the midfield. We follow her evolution in our affiliated club and work periodically with her in the academy to help in her improvement.
