Women are making an increasing impact in soccer. Women’s sports are growing at a rapid pace and clubs have already established their women’s sections. Real Madrid has been the latest to do so, and its team is already among the best in the Women’s League.
This process of developing players starts at the bottom. Whenever we think of working with future promises, we always think we are talking about men. However, the evolution of women in soccer means that more and more girls want to dedicate themselves professionally to this sport.
How does SIA Academy work with women?
SIA Academy has a differential factor compared to many academies: it also accepts girls. The girls range in age from thirteen to seventeen. Training future footballers is a must in modern sport, which is increasingly taking women’s soccer into account.
The goal of the students
All the girls who come to SIA Academy do so with the goal of playing in elite soccer. Our academy has the ideal infrastructure to train and feel at home: a natural grass pitch, an artificial pitch, gymnasium, rehabilitation areas, rooms… Everything for you to reach your goal.
The girls train daily with UEFA Pro Licensed coaches. In addition, the mental aspect is worked with the psychologist of the academy, the physical aspect with the physiotherapist and the nutritional aspect with the nutritionist. The training goes beyond soccer skills.
Academy women’s teams
The school’s work with women’s soccer has its rewards. SIA has two women’s clubs: CFF SIA Ciutat de Mislata and SIA Massanassa CF. These two teams are a showcase to show the best of the Valencian Community in the competition.
Soccer Inter-Action works with these two teams so that the women of the school see that it is possible to reach professional soccer. The training and visibility that the academy gives to the girls is difficult to see in any other school in Spain. For this reason, SIA is among the best rated.
Initiatives with women’s soccer
SIA Academy’s work is not limited to training the players of the future. The school organizes initiatives where women’s soccer is very present. The last of these was the 1st Women’s Tournament against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). It was a real success.
Competition with luxury guests
On October 12, the first women’s tournament against ALS was held. The participating teams were: Valencia, Villarreal, Levante and SIA Massanassa CF. The three strongest teams in the Valencian Community and the SIA Academy women’s team competed to win the tournament, although the result was not the important thing.
In the end, the winner was Levante, who beat Valencia by the narrowest of margins. SIA Massanassa CF took a creditable third place after beating Villarreal. The stands were packed, proving that the women’s soccer promoted by SIA Academy has an impact.
The school’s Campuses
Other initiatives include the Campuses that are offered. The school offers intensive learning in summer, winter and Easter. Here, in addition to training, matches are played against other teams. The improvements of the players who go through the campuses are very evident.
If you are a woman and your goal is to play professional soccer, SIA Academy is your place. In this school we are committed to women’s soccer and that does not happen in many others. We train players to compete in our teams, and hopefully later in the big teams in Spain and the world.
