UD SIA Benigànim never gives up. The first team of SIA Academy once again competed at a high level against a tough opponent like Silla CF. The young players of Soccer Inter-Action even managed to get a two goal difference in their favour, although they could not certify the victory.
Iván García once again showed that he is in great form. Also Roberto Laurel, the former FC Barcelona and Inter Milan player who is in great form at UD SIA Benigànim. The final result of the match was a 2-2 draw that gives a point to each team.
UD SIA Benigànim – Silla CF
UD SIA Benigànim – Silla CF was going to be a tough game. It was in the first round, where the SIA Academy team came close to victory. It was on this occasion, especially because of the heavy rain that fell throughout the match.
The game was difficult and complicated the way SIA Benigànim played. Iván García and Roberto Laurel were the scorers for the SIA Academy team. Carles Síscar and Nelson were in charge of tying the match. Also starring was SiddarthBapodra, the international academy’s Indian striker who was in the starting line-up for the first time.
How was the first part?
The first half was a wet one. It was difficult to pass the ball fluidly through the puddles on the pitch, although Bapodra and Iván García managed to find the spaces in the Silla CF defence. Salva was also on hand to stop opposition shots in the first half. In the 20th minute came the first goal for UD SIA Benigànim.
Silla CF were awarded a penalty from a corner and Iván García scored the spot-kick beautifully. The goal did justice. However, in the 34th minute Salva was sent off after handling the ball outside the area.
How did the second half go?
Despite being a man down, UD SIA Benigànim didn’t lose the game. In the 46th minute, Roberto Laurel made it 2-0 when he capitalised on a mistake by his opponents. The goals came and went as Carles Síscar made it 2-1 after a messy move in the six-yard box just a minute later.
In the 50th minute it was Nelson who made it 2-2 after a good play on the right flank. Both teams pressed until the end, although without a great game. The state of the pitch did not help and there were hardly any chances in the remainder of the game. In the end, one more point for UD SIA Benigànim.
Competing in the Spanish Third Division
SIA Academy is an international football academy with great possibilities to play in Spanish professional football. Soccer Inter-Action has its own club in the Spanish third division, UD SIA Benigànim. The best foreign players of SIA compete there. This is the case of SiddarthBapodra.
The Indian striker has made a place for himself in the team. He has already competed in more than 20 matches, has been able to score two goals and has played in the best sporting cities in Spain. Valencia CF, Villarreal CF or Elche CF already know him.
