UD SIA Benigànim hosted Valencia Mestalla in the most special match. The Valencia CF reserve team competed for the first time at the home of the SIA Academy first team. The result was almost unbeatable. The ‘ganxuts’ earned a valuable draw against the future stars of Mestalla.
The Tercera RFEF group 6 match was vibrant. UD SIA Benigànim took a 2-0 lead, beating players who have already made their LaLiga Santander debut. Valencia CF ended up equalising late in the game. A great experience for the first team of Soccer Inter-Action.

UD SIA Benigànim are true to their style. The SIA Academy first team didn’t mind playing against the leaders of the category. Playing out from the back, they had several chances to score. The rest of the goals came after half time. UD SIA Benigànim made it 2-0 with a goal from Iván García from a pass from Israel in the 65th minute, and the hard work paid off against Valencia CF. The leaders of the category were brought to their knees by the young stars of the SIA Academy.
Valencia Mestalla had great individual quality to pull the game back. Fran Pérez made it 2-1 in the 69th minute with a great goal from a direct free kick. Mario Musy, after a rebound, made it 2-2 in the 87th minute.
Playing in the RFEF Third Division with SIA Academy
UD SIA Benigànim players are still fighting to become elite players in Spanish football. Competing in Tercera RFEF against clubs like Valencia CF is a big step. The fifth division allows them to compete in the whole of the Comunitat and in the best elite sporting facilities.
