What is the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter?
The Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter is a tournament organised by the Villarreal football club during the Easter holidays. This tournament brings together teams from all over the world to experience the facilities of a professional club, get to know the stadium and compete against other top teams.
Villarreal CF is a Spanish club that competes in the Primera División and the Europa Conference League. It was the winner of the UEFA Europa League in 2021 and is a regular team in the top positions of LaLiga. Players like Gerard Moreno, Pau Torres or Raul Albiol are part of their squad.
When is the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter?
The Villarreal CF Easter tournament takes place from the 6th to the 9th of April. You have 3 venues, which are all in the town of Villarreal. One of them is the Sport Center of Villarreal CF, another one is the Ciudad Deportiva Pamesa Cerámica, where CD Roda and Villarreal CF train, and finally, the Centre Esportiu Municipal de Vila-real.
During these days you compete in a group phase and then come the knockout stages. You play against Spanish teams but also against top international clubs. The possible opponents could be FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Real Sociedad, Liverpool FC, Olympique de Marseille…
Compete with SIA Academy
SIA Academy has several teams in the tournament. This way, any player can participate in the tournament, even if their team does not attend. All of our academy players attend the tournament during these dates, so you can also meet more international players and socialise with them.
The previous week of training helps you to live the experience and prepare for the tournament. Get to know our methodology, our facilities, the staff… in short, what it is like to live at SIA Academy. A high performance centre focused on football, which has all the necessary services without leaving the premises. Natural grass pitch, artificial grass, gym, restaurant, hotel, etc., all at your fingertips and for your day-to-day use.
SIA Academy Easter Camp
The Easter camp at Soccer Inter-Action starts on the 27th of March. The ideal for all players is to join on this day to adapt to the rhythm of the academy players and to get to know them so that they can get to know each other on the pitch. Our players train every day, many of them with double sessions, so they are used to a high level of demand.
The second week will be when you will play the Villarreal CF tournament. But you will also have the option of staying at SIA Academy for a third week. This last week will help you to keep up the pace of your training and maintain your level of fitness. These three weeks will help you to be in the best shape for the final stretch of the season.
What do you do in the first week?
In this first week of training you will follow the methodology used by SIA Academy during the season. You will focus on improving all aspects of your game, both technical and tactical, and you will meet the members of the team that will compete in the Yellow Cup. With daily double training sessions, gym sessions and workshops on video analysis and psychology, you will learn quickly.
You will live in a football-focused environment, enjoy the company of players from all over the world and feel like a professional footballer in a high-level facility. It’s a great opportunity to test yourself and see if you are able to develop your full potential.
