The first team of Soccer Inter-Action, UD SIA Benigànim, has started the season in a great way. The opponents they have faced have been of high level and have offered a very competitive image in each of the matches played.
In the classification table of the sixth Spanish division, they are in the middle of the table. With their chances intact to get into promotion and fight for promotion. The SIA Academy players are more than ready and will be looking to achieve their goal.
Important matches of the season
So far, SIA Benigànim has faced rivals with big squads. We could say that some of them are 3rdRFEF. This is the case of CF Ontinyent1931 or CD Olimpic Xàtiva. In these matches they competed very well, but ended up falling on the side of the rival.
They are historic teams from the Valencian Community who want to return to the divisions belonging to the RFEF. In their ranks they have for example Jose Manuel Rueda, a player who belonged to the FC Barcelona squad during the glorious period of Pep Guardiola.
CD Olimpic Xàtiva
Olimpic de Xàtiva is a classic team in Spanish football. As a whole, they played in Segunda División “B”, which would now be Primera RFEF. They have also participated in several editions of the Copa del Rey, although they are currently in the same category as the SIA Academy team.
Since June 2018, the team has been owned by the Indian group Sudeva Sports based in New Delhi, which acquired the majority of the shareholding. Sudeva Sports International also owns Sudeva Moonlight F.C., which plays in the second division of the Indian I-League.

The team based in Xàtiva is made up of Indian players. It is an international football team in Spain that is made up of young players who come from India in search of an opportunity in Spanish football.
It is a club that does not compete in official categories, but SIA Academy teams do with their international academy players. In addition, Sudeva does not have a private residence. Therefore, the place of accommodation for the players is far away from the training
The players’ accommodation is located far away from the training ground, the La Murta pitch. This is the big difference with the Soccer Inter-Action facilities which have all the services in the same place. The residence is located next to the football fields, as well as the restaurant or the gym.
First wins of the season
The Benigànim team obtained their first victory against UD Calpe. The match, as reflected in the final score of 0-1, was very competitive from start to finish. There were moments for both sides, but the SIA Academy team were able to take their chance before the break to take the lead and hold on for the win until the end.
The same victory was repeated in the Costa Blanca area after visiting CD Javea. In this match the superiority was greater and the final score of 1-3 reflected this. A great second half gave a very important victory for the classification.
International players in the team
Within the team there are different profiles, depending on their positions on the pitch. But there are many international players who have a place in the squad at the moment. From the goal with Jose Maria, of Mexican origin, to the forward with Kevin, a Canadian player resident in the academy.
In addition, the twins Rafael and Jose Luis, also of Mexican nationality, are regulars in the game. Both the midfielder and the winger are getting a lot of playing time and are making great strides in their development.
