Results of the SIA Academy matches over the weekend.
Our amateur team SIA Academy continues to fight for their goal of promotion. This week our players from the annual programme, Giacomo and Lorenzo, were in the starting line-up and had a great presence on the pitch. Giacomo is accumulating starts, while Lorenzo was making his first appearance as a starter. The team is six points away from the promotion places and are still working hard to achieve their goal.
SIA Academy’s youth team continues to achieve victories
Our SIA Academy Juvenil secured their eighth win of the season with a 1-3 victory over Atzeneta UE. Jill and Daniel, from the SIA Academy annual programme, provided good attacking plays for the team to get the comeback and a lot of work to be able to keep the good result. The team now prepares for the first game of the second round against Benigànim CF.
UD Alzira women’s team wins against CF Atlétic Muro
The UD Alzira women’s amateur team, affiliated to SIA Academy, defeated CF Atlètic Muro at the Venècia municipal ground by four goals to zero. The team settled the match in the first half where they scored three goals. Our academy player, Alice Ridolfi, was again a starter in the match and helped in the creation of the chances and goals of the game. This is the team’s fourth win in a very competitive league.
UD Alzira’s youth team “C” continues working to consolidate its position.
UD Alzira Juvenil C continues to leave good sensations since our academy coach, Aarón López, has been in charge of the team. They continue to fight to get out of the relegation zone in which they are tied with several teams in the league. Academy players, as Mark, continues to bringing security and strength to the team’s defense while continuing his development as a player.
