A first experience that has left a good taste in the mouth among those attending Congress who have not only enjoyed a high added value content but have also witnessed an environment and facilities that transpire football on all four sides. And it is that Soccer Inter-Action becomes an ideal space to tackle football as never before, from a point of view that invites again and again to exchange experiences in a framework full of references and possibilities.

But returning to the Congress, there have been three days in which we began with the presentation on the behavior of the brain of the player in charge of Juan Luis Martínez, a renowned methodologist, responsible for the Smart Football methodology, who has deployed and implemented his knowledge in clubs such as Real Madrid, RCD Espanyol , the Dynamo of Moscow and even in China. This first presentation was the first step towards a really attractive experience for the attendees since it undoubtedly introduced the professional of football into an area that is difficult to deal with but very effective if you know how to manage it in an appropriate way since knowing the elements that make up the mentality of the player when facing different situations in games, and even over a long competition, provides an important competitive advantage because efficient management is what often marks the difference between winning or losing, between knowing how to act and Choose the best time to do it. In short, a first presentation full of ideas that undoubtedly penetrated the audience.

This was followed by the intervention of various highly reputable coaches and analysts, such as Enric Soriano, who with his vision of tactics captivated everyone present, rewarding with his subsequent recognition the work that Enric deploys as a soccer professional. On this first day the Congress also had the presence and the presentation of the coordinator of the Scouting area of FC Barcelona, Xavi Mocholi, who explained to the attendees how a technical secretariat should be structured within a football club and what are the key aspects that They allow you to identify players who have everything they need to progress. The recognition of a scout is not always obvious but his work undoubtedly marks the preparation of a champion football team.

The day closed a thematic block related to the physical preparation of the high competition soccer player and had the contents and lectures of José Mascarós, physical trainer of Atlético Levante UD, Juan Monar and Ángel García, physical trainer and physical retrainer respectively of Valencia CF Mestalla. All of them gave us a good sample of the large amount of data collected by these professionals on the performance and general condition of the players, data that in a very precise way allow us to analyze the possibilities that each player has to provide the maximum performance in each one of them. the stages that make up his daily work, from training, to the management of matches according to calendars almost always loaded with a large number of high-competition matches.

In this type of conferences that include physical aspects, the need to carry out an optimal management of the level of effort that each player can assume and explained to us how a training means, among other things, literally attacking our body and is in the rest period when that previous destruction causes the body to be strengthened, thus adapting to the next training session.

Intervention of speakers in the congress of football methodologies

Without any doubt one aspect, the physicist, which has a huge impact on the performance of the team as a whole and which, however, goes unnoticed by the coach of a club, since the relationship of this type of professionals is much more intense with the coaching staff than with the assistant staff of the coach, who is only interested in knowing whether or not he can count on a certain player and at what level he is.

Another headline that has provided this first football congress has been that the figure of the coach is no longer as lonely as we used to believe because more and more often they are surrounded by an innumerable group of professionals or assistants. For example, one of the speakers stated that in the case of Valencia CF the head coach has a total of 25 attendees. In the case of Guardiola of Manchester City, he is surrounded by about 17 attendees and also mentioned the example of Jürgen Klopp who has even an assistant coach to work with detail and exclusive throw-ins.

The Congress also through the presentations that have shaped especially the second day has had the methodological vision of clubs like Villarreal CF by the hand of Jordi Benavent and Héctor Font, Valencia CF with Jorge Manteca, Levante UD with Luca Troilo who focused on the specific work with goalkeepers within a high performance team.

Special mention deserves the presentation by the Sub-Coordinator of the quarry of FC Porto for the relationship that exists between our project and the award-winning Portuguese club. His conference stood out for the clarity with which he presented his ideas and the advantage provided by a good planning of the different workloads that a player or a team that must compete at the highest level must support.

Women’s football has also had a relevant space within the event as we have counted on the presence and ideas of Ximo Requena, coordinator of the Levante UD women’s football academy, a club that is currently a benchmark in football. women’s soccer of high competition at national level.

The closing ceremony of the 1st Inter-Action Soccer Congress was attended by the outstanding presence of Salvador Gomar, president of the Valencian Football Federation, and closed its contents with an interesting debate in which the intervention of the Director of the Academia de Alto Performance of our company Rui Tomé who, from his experience as coach in elite clubs, among which SL Benfica, FC Porto and Sporting de Portugal stand out, has also wanted to offer a unique vision on the management of a high competition team.
