SIA ACADEMY REMAINS UNDEFEATED
SIA Academy, UD Alzira’s subsidiary, closes the first part of the season in a positive way. There have been 5 matches in a row, in which the team has managed to win. The Amateur team ends the year undefeated and in seventh position in the league.
The last game of the first half of the season was against Muro C.F., where the team produced chances to win the game handsomely. However, they conceded a goal due to an individual mistake, but the team was able to take the pace of the game and control the result.
The team scored 4 goals, 3 of which came in the first half. In the second half, Xavi Candel’s team came out a bit relaxed, but their good rhythm in the match and the expulsion of one of Muro CF’s players favoured the visitors. The team moves up to seventh position and closer to the dream of promotion places.
Our academy players, Giacomo, Theo, Justin, Lorenzo and Daniel, have been part of this great first half of the team’s season. Gaining an extraordinary experience for their training and professional career.
The boys are still ready and eager to continue contributing to the team to maintain the good feelings in the second part of the season.

UD Alzira vs Atlético Saguntino
The first team of UD Alzira, the club with which SIA Academy is affiliated, came out victorious at the Estadio Luís Suñer Picó against Atlético Saguntino, a direct rival for relegation.
Alfaro and Solbes got the goals for the azulgranas in the first half, although Saguntino did not give up, they were unable to cope with the home side’s good form. The second half was entertaining in the eyes of the spectators with back and forth play from both teams, but no goals due to a lack of effectiveness. Alzira will close the year closer to the promotion places than the relegation places, without losing sight of the main goal: salvation.
UD Alzira women’s vs L’Alcúdia
In women’s football, UD Alzira’s amateur team achieved their second win of the season. Our SIA Academy annual programme player, Alice, was part of the 4-0 win over l’Alcúdia at the Campo Municipal de Venecia. The azulgranas scored all 4 goals in the first half, leaving L’Alcúdia with no chance to react. The team closes the year with the best result they could have imagined and continues to work to maintain the positive sensations in 2024.
UD Alzira Juvenil C vs CF Moncadense
On the other hand, Juvenil C vs CF Moncadense match, held at the Campo Municipal de Deportes Venecia in Alzira, was a very even match (2-2), in the moments without the ball Alzira had clear concepts for victory: verticality in transitions and good tactical positioning were key. From this point of view, the U.D. were remarkable.
On the other hand, Moncadense stood out for controlling the ball, giving way to long possessions and direct attacks. Alzira had some very good counter attacks that could have resulted in a goal. On the other hand, at times with CF AT Moncadense “B” in the back, Alzira had the ball, but with shorter possessions and looking to attract the ball to change direction quickly. “In that sense, we had little rest in MCB as our possessions in positional attacks were much shorter. We wanted a high tempo game.” Comments Pau Coves Santamaría, coach of the Alzira team.
Our player from the academy, Lukian, has also had the opportunity to be part of the various matches of the Juvenil C and continue adding experience to his professional career.
UD Alzira Juvenil C Goals:
For U.D. Alzira, Edu Palacios and Màxim Carrió scored. And for AT. Moncadense “B” scored: Óscar Oliva and Manuel Reyes Muñoz.
