Football is the most popular sport in Spain. There are countless schools, clubs and academies all over the country. Our men’s and women’s national teams are world leaders, but everything has a beginning. Training during adolescence is key to reaching a high level.
At this stage it is common for players to be in academies. At Soccer Inter-Action we have women between the ages of 13 and 22 who have one objective: to become professional soccer players. Our goal is to bring them as close as possible to their dream, but… how do we do it? What is the role of a women’s soccer academy?
The work of SIA Academy
In our academy the methodology is clear. The player is the protagonist of her development. With two training sessions a day the improvement is evident. In this way, our students feel part of the whole process, and are more than ready to face the next challenges.
The objectives of Soccer Inter-Action
The main objective of the SIA Academy is for you to experience a complete development of your skills as a footballer. The work that takes place on the pitch is predominant in our day-to-day work, but it is not the only one. We also have real professionals who will help you to find yourself in the best possible environment.
The psychologist is a decisive advantage to keep your mind focused on football. The physiotherapist and the nutritionist will ensure that you are in the best possible shape. The trainers with their instructions on each exercise and the different video sessions teach you in a simpler way what your mistakes are and how to correct them. The aim is to create a favorable environment for each player.
The 1st Women’s ALS Tournament
The academy also promotes activities to encourage women’s soccer. On October 12, the I Women’s Tournament against ALS was held. It counted with three luxury guests:
Valencia, Levante and Villarreal. The Granotas were the champions after beating Valencia in the final by the narrowest of margins.
The fourth participating team was SIA Massanassa CF, which finished third after beating Villarreal. These matches served to give visibility to women’s soccer and ALS. Sport is a good place to vindicate the need to find a cure for ALS, so all the funds from the tournament were donated for this purpose.
The showcase we offer
Training at SIA Academy will help you to be a professional, but you have to be prepared for new challenges. If you manage to improve your level during your time at the school, you will have the opportunity to compete with Soccer Inter-Action’s partner teams. This is the showcase we offer our players
Own Clubs
Soccer Inter-Action has two teams: SIA Massanassa CF and CFF SIA Ciutat de Mislata. The players who stand out in the academy find a place to play in these teams. In this way, they notice a progression in their development. In both clubs the competition helps them to maximize their level.
This does not happen in almost any other academy in Spain. SIA’s commitment to women’s soccer has made it one of the most highly valued in the country. The big teams of the Valencian Community face SIA Massanassa CF, and this can be an opportunity to sign for Valencia or Levante.
Players who have gone far
Our player Antonia Ramirez has trained with the second subsidiary of Valencia Femenino. This team was playing against SIA Massanassa CF and after watching her compete, the ches offered her the chance to train with them. Antonia did not hesitate to accept and enjoyed this fantastic experience.
Soccer Inter-Action and Valencia Club de Fútbol had the opportunity to strengthen ties. The academy works to make this situation happen as often as possible. However, it is an example that the work we do is rewarded.
