SIA Academy in the VIF League
There will be 10 academies participating in this third edition of the VIF League. A tournament where international academies will face each other in the Valencia region of Spain.
SIA Academy will participate for the first time in the VIF League III season. One more opportunity for our players to test their professional development as footballers, as well as to evaluate the individual and team work they have been working on during the technical and sports training received in our academy.
The SIA Academy team has had a good pre-season, remaining undefeated in all the friendly matches that have been held since we started our annual programme in September this year.
First SIA Academy meeting in the VIF league
The first match took place today, Tuesday 17 October, at our SIA Center facilities. Our players faced the Levante Football UD team from the Global Football Total academy. A strong opponent who knew how to impose themselves on the pitch.
Our team, made up of younger players and eager to achieve excellence, recognizes that they have a lot to continue to improve; likewise, correct the mistakes made in this match to get a better result in the next matches.
Importance of competitive tournaments
The importance of our players having competitive experiences that allow them to apply the training gained both in the academy and in the club and thus bring them closer and closer to the professional football environment.
On the other hand, by having competitive experiences, it allows them to get to know each other better as a team, focus on achieving results and improve areas of evaluation.
We hope that their focus and performance will be maintained under the pressure and seriousness of this tournament and that they can continue to enjoy these experiences on the field. We will see many talents competing, the competitive spirit of each football academy that will be participating will allow us to experience a great tournament.
We will keep an eye on their progress.
