Great result for UD SIA Benigànim. The first team of SIA Academy was able to beat Atlético Saguntino, second in the Spanish Third Division, 1-3. Soccer Inter-Action’s promising youngsters even went on to win 3-0 against one of the top candidates for promotion to Segunda RFEF.
Iván García, Israel Ull and Pablo Ros scored the goals that rounded off the UD SIA Benigànim victory. Another success for a hard-working and united team thanks to the daily work at the Soccer Inter-Action facilities together with the members of the international football academy.
Atlético Saguntino 1-3 UD SIA Benigànim
Atlético Saguntino 1-3 UD SIA Benigànim was a match full of good news. The SIA Academy first team were able to convert their chances into goals to beat a great team. They were also able to pull back and pull together in defence when the game required it. The Soccer Inter-Action team went into half-time with a slender lead. It was in the second half that the victory was sealed and the victory went to the SIA Center. Indian international academy striker Siddarth Bapodra also featured in the match, making his second consecutive start.
How was the first part?
The first half of Atlético Saguntino – UD SIA Benigànim started evenly. Both teams wanted possession of the ball, but the size and state of the pitch made it very difficult to handle the ball. In this situation it was the SIA Academy team who took advantage. In the 27th minute,
Ivan Garcia finished off a counter-attack with Bapodra to make it 0-1. The rest of the first half saw more Roman possession. How did the second half go?
The home side were hurting and came out all guns blazing in the second half. It was when SIA Benigànim pressed hardest that SIA Benigànim scored the goal. First, Israel Ull scored in the 67th minute when he took advantage of a rebound in the six-yard box.
Four minutes later it was Pablo Ros who made it 3-0 with a great header. The victory seemed to be on track but it had to be maintained. Kike Torrent made it 1-3 for the home side in the 76th minute with a fine long-range effort. Atlético Saguntino tried to keep trying to close the gap, but nothing could stop UD SIA Benigànim from winning at the home of second-placed Benigànim.

The main objective of Soccer Inter-Action’s international football academy in Spain is to turn its players into professional footballers. Playing in the Spanish Third Division with SIA Academy is possible.
UD SIA Benigànim is Soccer Inter-Action’s own club. The best players of the international football school participate in this team. This is the case of the Indian striker Siddarth Bapodra or the American goalkeeper Carlos Romagosa.
Bapodra’s new title
Siddarth Bapodra is a reference at UD SIA Benigànim. The Indian striker from the international academy started for the second consecutive game against Atlético Saguntino. The young striker has already made 20 appearances this season in the Spanish Tercera División with two goals to his name. With five games left in the season, Bapodra’s good form will see him start most of them. In the Atlético Saguntino – UD SIA Benigànim game, he added his first assist of the season in the 0-1 goal scored by Iván García.

He moved from UD SIA Benigànim to the Sagunto side in the winter transfer window. Santos was captain of the first team of SIA Academy because of his quality and gallantry. Now he is succeeding in a team that is a candidate for promotion to Segunda RFEF to try to compete with clubs like Hercules CF or Real Murcia CF.
