SIA Academy continues to compete and demonstrate its high level. The Soccer Inter-Action international football academy team continues its rhythm of friendly matches around the Valencian Community. On this occasion it was the turn to face Sudeva FC, the SIA Academy international team showed their maximum potential and achieved a comfortable victory.
The result in friendlies is the least important thing. Soccer Inter-Action was able to show the good game learned during the evening training sessions at the SIA Center and to continue the development of the international players.
What was the Sudeva FC – SIA Academy like?
The Sudeva FC – SIA Academy friendly was a match that required a lot of hard work from both teams. Soccer Inter-Action travelled to Xàtiva to face another hard-working opponent on the pitch. In the end, SIA’s individual quality won out on the pitch. The physical aspect was key.
SIA Academy has a specific physical plan for each player. The Soccer Inter-action players have a good level of endurance and muscle building. On a pitch as big as La Murta in Xàtiva, it was very important. It was noticeable in the game and in the result.
Ownership of SIA Academy
As usual in SIA Academy friendlies, it was the Soccer Inter-Action players who handled the ball. A philosophy learned at the SIA Center with which the players can develop to a greater extent. In addition, with a classic Spanish football style, a characteristic that has attracted many players to Soccer Inter-Action.
The Sudeva FC team simply defended the actions of Soccer Inter-Action. Especially when Siddarth Bapodra got the ball. The UD SIA Benigànim striker was superior to the rest and scored several goals. Chilean winger Daniel Farkas was also a talented winger.
Spanish Third Division stadium
The Sudeva FC – SIA Academy match took place at La Murta Stadium in Xàtiva. It is home to CD Olímpic de Xàtiva, a Spanish Third Division team that competes in the same group as UD SIA Benigànim, Soccer Inter-Action’s own club. It is a large, spacious stadium with a wide pitch where Real Madrid played a few years ago.
The large dimensions of the pitch favoured SIA Academy. More ground to run on, more importance of physicality. The players of Soccer Inter-Action are characterised by their great physical shape and endurance as a result of the work in the gym and on the fields of the SIA Center.
What is Sudeva FC?
SIA Academy’s latest rival is Sudeva FC. The Indian team trains and competes at La Murta in Xàtiva. It is an international football team in Spain that is made up of young players coming from India looking for an opportunity in Spanish football.
They reside and train in the city of Xàtiva. Some Indian players have the opportunity to play in Regional Preferente for local clubs such as UD Canals or CD Llosa. Very few get to compete with CD Olímpic de Xàtiva, a club managed by the Indian company Sudeva.
Indian Club in Spain
Sudeva FC is a club that does not compete at an official level. Unlike what SIA Academy does with its international academy players. In addition, Sudeva accommodates its players in rented flats in Xàtiva, far from the training ground in La Murta. Quite different from the facilities and residence of the SIA Center, all linked together.
As in SIA Academy, Sudeva FC players dream of becoming professional football players. In India there are hardly any opportunities, so they have to pack their bags in search of opportunities to take advantage of. Spanish football has plenty of them and Sudeva, in its international football programme, welcomes them.
Professional team in India
Sudeva has one professional football club in India. Sudeva Delhi FC is a team founded in 2014 as Sudeva Moonlight FC. It competes in the I-League from the 2020/2021 season. It is one of the two top tiers of Indian football alongside the Indian Super League, which competes outside the Indian football federation’s league system.
Sudeva Delhi is fighting to avoid relegation. The objective is to train players in Spain in order to take them to the first team and play in the elite of Indian football. If they are good enough, they could even play for CD Olímpic de Xàtiva.
