Our soccer camps create opportunities to showcase talent and skillss
The SIA Academy Christmas Camp started this week and is the place where players from all over the world come to develop and improve their soccer skills with intensive training that also includes a holistic preparation of the player and teaches them different technical skills versus training in their current teams. Part of our methodology and differentiation includes identifying the potential of the players who come to our soccer academy and recognizing those who may have great opportunities to play for professional teams.
During this camps we identified several players with potential including David Schramm, from Wilitngen, Germany, who was selected for his skills and had the opportunity to train with our UD Alzira División de Honor youth team that competes at the highest level of its category in Spain.
David is a defensive midfielder who currently plays for FC Kaiserslautern U19 competing against professional academy teams like FC Bayern, Eintracht Frankfurt, Stuttgart or Hoffenheim. In the first days of campus he showed great qualities, which is why he was selected to do tryouts during training with the youth team División de Honor of UD Alzira. During the training sessions, impressions of the player’s skills were shared with coach Guillem Beltrán, head coach of the youth team, who valued his profile and gave positive feedback on the player’s skills.
Soccer tryouts with professional teams
At SIA Academy we create opportunities for players to demonstrate their potential. One of these opportunities is through soccer tryouts. The objective of this program is for the player to demonstrate his skills during training sessions and, depending on his performance, opt to be part of the club’s Second Division RFEF, Spanish Preferente or Juvenil División de Honor teams. Throughout the training sessions, the player is analyzed by the technical team, who issues a report with his skills and opportunities.
Our partnership with UD Alzira helps us to provide our players with experiences with high level teams in the Valencian Community. UD Alzira’s first team is playing in the well-known Segunda RFEF, Spain’s fourth division, competing against legendary teams such as Hércules CF, Valencia Mestalla, CE Europa, Espanyol B or Lleida Esportiu. In this team, players with a great soccer training can measure their level and fight for a place in a high level club and start their soccer projection.
For players who are still in training or culminating it, they have the opportunity to gain experience in the UD Alzira’s División de Honor youth team. This team plays in the highest youth category in Spain, playing against professional academies such as Valencia CF, Villarreal CF, Atlético de Madrid, Albacete or Levante UD.
As with David, during the SIA Academy soccer camps we receive players with potential who are looking for new challenges and to continue their training to maximize their potential; these types of experiences are brilliant opportunities to measure their current abilities and look for a good projection in Spain or Europe.
